With so many picturesque scenes in Chelsea, I was especially drawn to this quiet dialogue between nature and architecture.
Working in my impressionistic style, I aimed to convey more than the structure itself: the shifting light, gentle movement, and subtle atmosphere that give the surroundings their distinct character. The interplay of foliage and façade creates a soft rhythm, an exchange of stillness and energy that I sought to translate onto the board. This painting is both a study of place and a moment of calm observation, painted directly from life in the heart of Chelsea.
